Why Does My Brain Refuse to Work on Mondays?

Monday morning. The alarm goes off, and I look at the world like a koala dragged out of a dream and dropped into an Excel spreadsheet.
My brain won’t reboot. It might still be running a 90s DOS version. It’s on strike. No booting until at least Tuesday afternoon.
Coffee? Of course! Just gotta find it first. Apparently, I’ve made it already — but I don’t remember. I’m searching for the mug… while holding it. Brain status update: “Object located. Mission complete!”

At this point, I’m convinced my brain has a snooze button. And someone keeps hitting it non-stop.
And just when I feel like I’m finally getting into gear… I get an email. Subject: “Please resend the file, you forgot the attachment.” Me: What file? Where am I? What is happening? System crash.
Mondays aren’t hard. They’re just buggy. And my brain is still in beta.
